About Us
Toms Tool Chest are a family run business and have been in business since 1993, we have a wide range of automotive and hand tools for sale online and add new items on a regular basis.
We sell a wide range of tools, storage solutions, garage and safety equipment from a huge array of suppliers; any of which can be purchased online and delivered to addresses in the UK. We also offer International deliveries on smaller items weighing less than 50kg.
If you have specific requirements, then please don't hesitate to contact us. Tailored discounts are offered on larger purchases.

Buying a Product
When you have found the product you want to buy, simply set the Quantity to the amount you require, then click the Add to Cart icon. You can add or remove as many items as you want and update quantities before you decide to make a purchase.
You can view your shopping cart at any time by clicking the View Cart option on the Menu on the left of any page.
How do I Pay
Click on the View Cart option and then on the bottom right hand side of the page you will see a Checkout button by clicking this you will be taken to the 1st Checkout page. You are then required to enter your Billing Details and also Delivery address details (if different), then click Continue.
You will now be take to our 2nd Checkout page where you are required to Accept out Terms and Conditions if you wish to continue with the purchase. Once this is done, please select Continue.
You will no be presented with your Order Summary, please check this carefully and then select your chosen payment method from the list at the bottom of the page. If you choose to pay by Credit or Debit card you will be take to our Secure Payment page where you can submit your card details. Your card will not be debited until we are ready to dispatch your item.
If paying by Paypal then please follow the on screen instructions, your paypal account will be debited immediately. Please ensure that you return to our site to complete you order correctly.
How to pay by Post / Telephone
Simply follow the How do I Pay instructions until you reach the Order Summary page.
At the bottom of the Order Summary page there are 4 payment options.
If you wish to pay by Telephone then please select this payment option and follow the on screen instructions.
If you wish to pay by post then please select this option, print a copy of your order and include with your payment before posting to our address.
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept both Business and Personal Cheques (allow 7 days clearing time), Postal Orders, Paypal, Google Checkout, Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, Solo, Switch, Maestro.
Order Dispatch
We aim to ship all orders within working 2 days.
These times are based upon stock availability, should the product(s) be out of stock we will advise you of an expected dispatch date.
Cancelling your Order
You are entitled to a 7 day 'cooling off' period whereby you can cancel your order at any time for no reason.
Should we have already dispatched your order, then you will need to return the items back to us in their original unopened condition.
If we have already received your payment then we will arrange a refund as soon as you inform us you wish to cancel or as soon as we receive any returned products.
You can cancel by email or telephone, simply by quoting your order number.
Returning Goods
Please contact us by email or telephone to advise us that you will be returning your product(s), we will advise the method in which the goods should be returned. In some cases we will arrange for courier collection.
When returning products you must ensure that they are in their original packaging (or similar quality packaging) to avoid damage in transit.
Please return to the address on the Contact Us page including your Order Number to enable a swift refund (if applicable).
Errors on the Web Site
If you experience an error message whilst browsing our site or when trying to pay for an order, in the first instance please try to delete any cookies and temporary files on your computer, if the problem persists then please email or telephone us and we will input your order on your behalf.
Please make a note of any error messages and inform us of them so that we can erradicate any problems.
Web Site Security
Our web site utilises SSL to encrypt any Credit / Debit Card information that is input onto our web site.
Our Secure Payment page is hosted on a Secure server to ensure that your details are not intercepted.
You can check if the Payment page is secure by viewing the URL and checking that is starts with https:// and not just http://
Our Privacy Policy
